Description

All weekend visitors are encouraged to use the 22 acres of Dunwoody Park to do their bird count. There are several prime viewing areas throughout the park including the treehouse pavilion, education building,  Wildcat Creek and forested trails. Participants are encouraged to take the information learned home with them to continue their count in their own backyard.

  • On Feb. 15 at 8 a.m., the Atlanta Audubon Society will lead a bird walk, and participants should be by the historic fireplace.
  • On Sunday, Feb. 16 at 1 p.m., a second Bird Walk will be led by Master Birder and Nature Center Educator, Rose Guerra.
