Emma, unfortunately, crossed over the Rainbow Bridge after a Brief Illness. |
Planned PEThood of Georgia is a non-profit organization. Their mission is to reduce the number of animals killed in the local shelters and to provide affordable services, not to make a profit. They keep overhead costs low in order to keep their prices affordable. Donations are welcome to assist with their efforts!
Hi, my name is Emma and I have had a rough few years. I have been bounced from place to place, and am ready to find my final forever home. As you can see, I have very unique markings and its super soft too. I prefer a quiet life. A home with a retired person would be lovely. We could enjoy our days together. I make wonderful biscuits and happy purrs. I am super affectionate and really enjoy my sunny spots in the house. I enjoy sitting beside my foster mom on the couch and sometimes I venture into her lap for a quick pet. I live with dogs and other cats right now and I am fine with them, but a calmer home without small children would be best for me. I hope you look into my deep green eyes and fall in love. I really want to find MY PERSON!
About my past: I was originally rescued from a feral cat colony. I was scared and alone and dumped by my former owners. I didn't know what to do until a nice woman came along and helped me. After her wonderful care, I was adopted into what I thought was my forever home, but again I was lost, alone and afraid. I was picked up by animal control as a stray and unsure of my fate once again. Now I have found my way to Planned PEThood of Georgia and they have promised to find me the perfect home!
Emma is negative for FIV/FeLV, spayed/neutered and up-to-date on vaccinations. She has a microchip that will be transferred to the adopter upon completion of the adoptions process. The adoption fee is $90.00.
She is available for adoption through Planned PEThood of Georgia, a 501(c)(3) non-profit animal welfare organization in Duluth. Email Lauren, if you would like to meet Emma or know which adoption site s/he will be attending this week.
