Planned PEThood of Georgia is a non-profit organization. Their mission is to reduce the number of animals killed in the local shelters and to provide affordable services, not to make a profit. They keep overhead costs low in order to keep their prices affordable. Donations are welcome to assist with their efforts!
Lizzo’s journey started out as many other pit bulls - at the shelter. She was picked up by animal control after they found her in a rural field...probably dumped. Or she got loose and no one came looking for her.
Lizzo is the sweetest 43 lbs goofball! She is 100% pure happiness and wiggly butt. Even though she is ~3 years old, she has a lot of puppy in her. Lizzo hasn't really met a stranger, she loves everyone she meets. Kisses, she loves to give kisses! She likes belly rubs and ALL toys! Lizzo loves to go on adventures, she is quite the hiking Pro. She has already conquered North GA mountains and NC Mountains. Lizzo sits and waits politely for her food. She is crate trained and potty trained. She knows basics commands and she is a fast learner. Lizzo lives with other dogs and she adores them but is still learning boundaries during playtime. Lizzo needs a home that is experienced in working with smart dogs. Lizzo needs boundaries and structure much like other powerful intelligent dogs.

Lizzo is heartworm negative, spayed and is up to date on vaccinations. Lizzo has a microchip that will be transferred to the adopter upon completion of the adoption process. **A generous donor has sponsored $200 towards Lizzo’s adoption fee, because of that her adoption fee is now only $100**
