Planned PEThood of Georgia Pet of the Week: Dahlia

By Planned PEThood of Georgia April 16, 2020

Planned PEThood of Georgia is a non-profit organization. Their mission is to reduce the number of animals killed in the local shelters and to provide affordable services, not to make a profit. They keep overhead costs low in order to keep their prices affordable. Donations are welcome to assist with their efforts!

Dahlia is a sweet, quiet, beauty hoping for her fairy tale ending. She’d love a home with a cat tree by a window where she could watch birds, occasional cat treats, and a human to snuggle beside while watching tv.

We are getting to know her personality more each day and, what a joy she is!

  • Update 1: Dahlia has come out from her cozy hidey-spot on her own, purring and very happy to be getting lots of petting and attention!
  • Update 2: Dahlia still loves to find any and every hidey hole in the house (hence the picture of her behind the wreath stored away!) but she is more up for exploring and of course ear scratches and chin rubs!

Dahlia is negative for FIV/FeLV, spayed/neutered and up-to-date on vaccinations. She has a microchip that will be transferred to the adopter upon completion of the adoptions process. Her adoption fee is $90.00.

Want to get more info on Dahlia? Text 770-597-8540 or email Jeani for more information.

Other animals are available for adoption through Planned PEThood of Georgia, a 501(c)(3) non-profit animal welfare organization in Duluth.

You can find Planned PEThood of Georgia, Petfinder page, HERE.  On Petfinder, you can find more information about the animals featured, or different kittens, cats, puppies, and dogs to bring home.

Planned PEThood of Georgia hosts adoption events each weekend at several locations. They are at the Petsmart in Johns Creek (corner of Medlock Bridge and McGinnis Ferry Roads) and also at the Petsmart in Lawrenceville (Lawrenceville-Suwanee Road) every Saturday starting at noon. They occasionally host adoption events at other locations. Please visit their Facebook Page or Website to see where they will be this weekend!
