Planned PEThood of Georgia Pet of the Week: Ridge and Wittney

By Planned PEThood of Georgia November 24, 2020

Planned PEThood of Georgia is a non-profit organization. Their mission is to reduce the number of animals killed in the local shelters and to provide affordable services, not to make a profit. They keep overhead costs low in order to keep their prices affordable. Donations are welcome to assist with their efforts!

Ridge

Wittney

Ridge and his sister Wittney were born to a feral mom and a caring citizen who got them all fixed, vetted, and vaccinated. The original plan was to return them outdoors but the kittens showed promise of being sweet indoor cats. Over the last six weeks, they have both learned to trust humans and have relaxed into their indoor routine. Instead of wondering where their next meal is coming from they get to “worry” about which toy they will play with next. They have enjoyed playing with the other cats in our foster program and show no signs of aggression.

These two still have a ways to go but they will continue to blossom in a home with an understanding and patient owner. Due to their background, they need to be adopted in a home together.

If you would like to meet this beauty, please email their foster: Bridget Adkins, or call (404) 771-3890.

You can find Planned PEThood of Georgia, Petfinder page, HERE.  On Petfinder, you can find more information about the animals featured, or different kittens, cats, puppies, and dogs to bring home.

Planned PEThood of Georgia hosts adoption events each weekend at several locations. They are at the Petsmart in Johns Creek (corner of Medlock Bridge and McGinnis Ferry Roads) and also at the Petsmart in Lawrenceville (Lawrenceville-Suwanee Road) every Saturday starting at noon. They occasionally host adoption events at other locations. Please visit their Facebook Page or Website to see where they will be this weekend!

Ready to adopt this beauty? Please complete our online application here.  It will be reviewed and the foster will then contact you. (Alternatively, you can download and print the application and then scan it back to adoptions@pethoodga.org)
